About The Event
At Rumi's this January we are taking a conscious emphasis to discuss issues everyone has struggled with or know someone who has. This month we are focusing on the "winter blues". Looking at seasonal depression, sadness, sorrow, anxiety and unease. Depression is something that affects all spectrums of ages, races and ethnicities. It's pull for some can be majorly impactful affecting their social, work and spiritual practices. With the increase in technology, the age of individualism, the break down of the family construct, capitalism and habitual routines. Many find themselves isolated and consumed in the rat race.
Throughout the month we will be hosting events that will frame this important topic from differing perspectives:

Our intention is to bring this important topic to the forefront and support those whom have felt its pull.
