***Special***Join us Friday 29th March for a lecture with Hababa Umm Rayan Alkaff. On the greatness of faith in Allah (swt) and in following his Beloved and Chosen one Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him). Hababa Sayyida Umm Rayyan al–Kaff is a direct descendent of the noble Prophet Muhammad saws. She was born in the city of Mecca and one of the first to nurture and spiritually raise her was her father, Sheikh ibn Abu Bakr ibn Saadiq, who had an unbroken chain of transmission of knowledge and etiquette through the scholars of Tarim, Hadramawt.

She accompanied her father who kept the companionship and studied under the great Gnostic al-Habib Abdul Qadir as–Saqqaf. She also has studied with and remains under the guidance of al- Habib Umar bin Salim bin Hafiz, the Director of Dar al Mustafa in Tarim, as well as taking from al Habib Husayn ibn Abdul Qadir as-Saqqaf. She has received a number of I’jaza’s in sacred texts and in transmitting this knowledge to others.

She has worked in the field of teaching for many years in Saudi Arabia and Abu Dhabi. She served as founder and director of Al-Bashaa’ir school in Abu Dhabi from 1993 to 2000, and also as the head of the Mothers’ Council at Shaykh Zayed Academy for girls from 2000 to 2004.

She currently serves as an advisor to the department of Endowments in Abu Dhabi, supervises a number of courses for children and young girls, and continues to do her utmost to serve in the field of da’wah while asking for sincerity from Allah, divine success and acceptance for her and for all of the Muslims.
