OPEN MIC NIGHT @ THE CAVE / JUNE

OPEN MIC NIGHT @ THE CAVE

Join the Cave Collective for our June Open Mic Night @ the Cave, hosted by the one and only Muneera Pilgrim with a special remembrance for Maya Angelou.

Open Mic is a welcoming and vibrant environment for poets, musicians and performers to share their work for the first time, or to try out new material.

All levels are welcome, even if you just want to sit and soak up the vibes. We also encourage people to share poems and songs from their favourite writers. This month we are asking people to read out their favourite Maya Angelou poem.

OPEN-MIC SLOTS WILL BE AVAILABLE ON A FIRST COME FIRST SERVE BASIS FROM 6:30pm ON THE NIGHT.

This is now the only open mic event at Rumi’s Cave, with Live Lounge solely focusing on featured acts. However, Open Mic artists can still gain the opportunity to perform at an upcoming Live Lounge.

EVENT DETAILS:

Date: Saturday 7th June 2014 Doors Open: 6:30pm Cost: £3 Entry @ Rumi’s Cave, 26 Willesden Lane, London NW6 7ST
