Graduated from Khartoum university medical school and did his MA and PHD in the U.K. Having worked for over a decade in the U.K he also worked over two decades in Saudi Arabia and then in Sudan for a further decade in the field. He is the chief medical advisor for the Sudanese army. His specialisation is virology.
