About The Event
The PSC, established in 1982, is Europe’s leading advocacy organisation for Palestinian rights, working tirelessly to demand justice, statehood for Palestine, an end to illegal Israeli colonisation, and equality for Palestinian citizens of Israel.
This special screening of Where Olive Trees Weep offers a poignant exploration of life under Israeli occupation in the West Bank. Through the voices of Palestinian journalist and therapist Ashira Darwish, grassroots activist Ahed Tamimi, and Israeli journalist Amira Hass, the film delves into themes of loss, trauma, and the universal quest for justice. It also poses challenging questions about the blindness of oppressors to their own cruelty, a perspective often echoed by Western powers—while still offering a message of hope.
After the screening, you’ll have the opportunity to connect with local supporters, learn more about our cause, and support the movement by visiting our stall, which will feature PSC merchandise.
