About The Event

Kiln Theatre are looking for stories of Kilburn. Funny, poignant, heartfelt or unexpected. An unforgettable night out at The Good Ship. Early mornings on the number 8 bus route. Stories of people, stories of place.

Join us for a creative writing workshop, exploring storytelling that speaks to a particular place, that unwraps the magic of writing the everyday. Led by Kiln Theatre, we will work collaboratively and individually to write stories of Kilburn and the surrounding area, looking at themes of location, belonging, and history through words.

This workshop takes place as part of the Kilburn High Road Project Event, Passages. Stories completed within the session will be displayed in a public art exhibition at Kiln Theatre. A few stories from Passages will be brought to life and performed as part of the Kilburn High Road Project Festival in Summer 2026.
