🌷Please join us in our regular monthly mawlid

Celebrating the birth of the Prophet (pbuh) in the upcoming month of Rabi al Awwal 🌷

✨Recital of The Shimmering Lights Mawlid by Habib Umar bin Hafiz 

✨Storytelling by Jumana Moon 'The Camels Complaint' for children 

✨ Encourage your children to bring some ARTWORK about 'THE PROPHET (pbuh) that we can put up in the masjid for Rabi al Awwal 

✨Poem and Qasida by Soumaya Clotaire

✨Many other traditional Qasa'ids 

✨Viewing of the blessed hair of the Prophet (pbuh) 

✨ Light Refreshments and drinks will be available and pre packed meal to eat in or takeaway will be provided 

at the end 

🌹This is a women only gathering. Children are welcome and boys under the age of 9 years old 

🌹Please no audio /visual recordings of the gathering 

🌹Please bring your own copies of the 'Shimmering lights'. Lyrics can be found on 'Desert Echo blog - Qasida Collective'
