About The Event

These enlightening sessions, open to both men and women, Muslims and non-Muslims alike, commence with an introductory class on the 16th of December at 1 pm.

Our inaugural session will delve into the profound realms of Classical Arabic texts, unraveling the essence of Islam through a discourse on "What is Islam?" and the transcendent virtues of knowledge encapsulated in Fadl Al-Ilm.

Transitioning into the new year, our curriculum will expand to include specialized short courses. The class will be divided into two segments, with one devoted to exploring Ash-Shama'il Al-Muhammadiyah—a compilation of hadiths meticulously assembled by the 9th-century scholar al-Tirmidhi, offering profound insights into the intricate facets of the life of the Islamic prophet Muhammad. The second segment will revolve around Kitab al Jami', an assemblage of hadiths elucidating adaab (etiquettes). Join us in these sessions as we delve into the profound teachings of Islamic heritage.

Ustadha Fairuz hails from London, UK, where she was born and raised. She dedicated seven years to academic pursuits in Egypt, focusing initially on classical Arabic. Subsequently, she delved into Islamic Studies under the guidance of Sheikh 'Ala Mustafa Naimah from Al-Azhar University. Ustadha Fairuz actively participated in educational sessions led by esteemed scholars such as Sheikh Abdussalam Ali Shita and Sheikh Muhammad Ibrahim Abdul Baith Al-Kattani during her time in Egypt.
