About The Event
Want to learn the principles on tasawuf (spirituality) in the Sufi tradition. Come to this course, taught by Sidi Muhammad Iqbal, based on the foundational text, "Al Murshid Al-Mueen" by 'Ibn Ashir.
Al-Murshid al-Mu'een is a widely recognised primary text for learning Islam. In it the author, Abd al-Wahid ibn 'Ashir, summarises in verse the three sciences of Islam, Iman and Ihsan: Maliki fiqh, Ash'ari 'aqida and Junaidi tassawwuf.
Course Summary:
Sidi Muhammad Iqbal will rely on Sidi Mayara 's commentary of Ibn Ashir's book to continue with the section on Hajj.

Sidi Muhammad Iqbal is a student of Sidi Jamaluddin El Qadiri Boutchich (Morocco). He receivied his MA in Islamic Studies from Newham University, Birmingham (UK) in 2010.
