women”. I traveled to different cities around the World to meet and interview new Heroes.

This series is geared to create positive content that shows the inspiring story of Muslim

women.

Why? Is it rare that you see this in the News, TV, or movies Muslim women playing the role of

“The Hero”: that why I wanted to document this and show that there are many out there that

deserve to shine.

Biography:

My name is Racha Adel, I’m a freelance Documentary filmmaker, Journalist, and Reporter,

living between France and Spain. My passion for filmmaking started when I was 20 years

old, but I took the leap to gave up my career in the corporate world two years ago and

started to work on making a documentary film and journalism, since then I never look back.

My main passion is to tell meaningful visual stories that make a positive impact, inspire

others, fight for gender equality, and a better representation of women issues from minority

groups.
