The Arabic script styles; Naskh, Thuluth and Diwani will be taught on rotation each month as part of a seasonal series.
The dates for Summer 2014 are:
Sunday 25th May / Naskh script Sunday June 22 / Thuluth script Sunday August 31 / Diwani script
Each session will introduce the fundamentals of the art with a brief overview of all the major scripts and styles.
Students are provided with all the necessary equipment and materials consisting of: hand made reed pen, writing ink, special paper, custom exercise sheets and an information pack.
The workshop welcomes students of all abilities, from complete beginner to those with previous experience, allowing them to benefit from the valuable expertise of our master calligrapher Moustafa Hassan.
